WHAT WE BELIEVE
About God
God is the creator and ruler of the universe and eternally exists in three personalities:
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
About Jesus
Jesus is the Son of God and God revealed to us. He lived a perfect, sinless
life and offered Himself as a sacrifice for our sins on the cross. He arose
from the dead to demonstrate His power over death, and God made Him Lord
over everything. He offers forgiveness of sins and a restored relationship
with God to all who believe and trust in Him. One day He will return to earth
and He will establish His everlasting Kingdom.
About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God's Spirit in the world and works to make all people understand
their need for Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit lives inside every follower
of Jesus from the moment they trust in Him and is their source of power for
life, ministry and spiritual growth.
About Humanity
God created human beings in His own spiritual image and with the ability to
choose right from wrong. By free choice the first human beings rebelled against
God and brought an attitude of disobedience upon all humanity. This sin keeps
us separated from God and from being the kind of person He created us to
be.
About Salvation
Our disobedient attitude has eternally separated us from God. No matter how
hard we try, we can never earn our way back into God’s presence. Only
by God’s grace, through believing and trusting in Jesus Christ, can
our sin be removed and so that we can enter into a relationship with God.
About the Bible
The Bible is God’s love letter to all humanity and is the final authority
in every issue it communicates. It is written by human authors under the guidance
of the Holy Spirit and is complete truth in all matters in this life and eternity.
About the Church
The Church is the body of Christ in the world today. The head of the Church
is Jesus Christ and His followers are its members. The purpose of the Church
is to come together to worship God, to minister to one another, to proclaim
God's Good News to others, to fellowship together, and to grow in faith.
